The University of Florida is a great school with many opportunities. The bottom line is that you need to actively seek out these opportunities and engage with them in order to make the most of them. Classes are conducted quite well, overall a great educational experience.
View moreOne of the major contributing factors to why I chose the University of Florida over my other top colleges is the overall sense of safety and security I had as I walked the campus. Unlike other schools, there are no places to avoid or never walk alone, as the campus is securely guarded and well lit. At every corner there are emergency towers. SNAP is very useful as it provides free night rides for students who have to cross campus and may not feel comfortable.
View moreTo anyone wanting to go to UF, I’d say once you’re done with the dorms, move off campus. I know the dorms look convenient and nice, but nothing beats off-campus housing. There are an incredible number of options, and most of them are also cheaper and much larger than anything you’ll find on campus. Plus, it’s super easy to find an apartment that’s right for you. There are many websites that can help you filter your results and find the best match. Or, if you’d rather talk to a human, you can walk into any rental office and get copies of the floor plans and pricing on the spot. The staff are always very friendly and can organize tours for you very quickly. I have been living off campus for 3 years now and I can tell you I will never go back to a dorm!
View moreMy experiences thus far as a student at the University of Florida have been great. The teachers are very knowledgeable, the classes can be challenging, but it is one of the best schools in Florida. There are so many people to meet and so many to interact with that you are sure to find something that will interest you. Above all, the education you receive at the university is excellent. I love this place. I would definitely stay here again if I had the choice.
View moreThe online experience is easy and intuitive, and you learn as much as you do in the classroom. The program ensures that students remain engaged in their education. I watch a lot of classes online, as some business courses offer an asynchronous option. The lessons were updated in a timely manner and the professors were always available to answer questions via email. During the pandemic, all of my courses have gone online and I have no complaints.

View moreIm fortunate to have attended such a fantastic university. It have a ton of options available to you there. The curriculum is difficult, but nothing worthwhile ever comes easily. Although the staff at my particular college was adequate, the university as a whole offers a lot of services to its students.
