To enjoy being at UF, there is a good sense of community; No matter what interests you, there is a place where you can develop that interest. All dorms and bathrooms are shared, and while it may seem off-putting at first, you quickly get used to it. It is also sometimes difficult to get used to classes, but if you are disciplined and stick to a schedule, it is also very comfortable to have a professional and social life.
View moreUniversity of Florida is a recognized college with a methodical teaching style and a serene environment for tutoring. The facility is the best since it is simple to access from anyplace in the world.
View moreThe University of Florida (UF) gives you an incredibly good education at an affordable price. I believe UF has exceptional teachers with interesting and credible backgrounds that make learning fun. Additionally, UF can provide most students with opportunities in their chosen careers even before graduation. I love that there is a sense of community in the Gator Nation. UF could make some changes regarding student diversity. I would like to see UF represent different communities. However, I’m excited to see what changes the new Diversity Action Plan makes to welcome more students. Also, I think more can be done in terms of security. In this way, I think UF would be able to further create a safe space for their students.
View moreI always feel lucky to be in such a great academic institution. The faculty is great and really cares about the welfare of their students. The University of Florida is a place where you can achieve endless goals.
View moreI love science and find my major very interesting; However, there is a lot of natural work. It is a challenging program that requires dedication and commitment. If you are studying in a science major, you will usually follow the pre-professional route. The college offers many research opportunities that can lead to internships and job opportunities.
View moreWe have one of the best sports programs in the country, thanks in large part to the incredible efforts of Jeremy Foley. It will be difficult to replace a man who has done so much for the University of Florida during his time here. The University of Florida has great football and basketball programs, but what makes UF one of the best sports programs in the country is that we are very dominant in sports that don’t get not as much attention. We are consistently dominant in sports such as softball, gymnastics, track and field, swimming and diving and many others. This athletic dominance leads to a strong school spirit among the many UF students who pride themselves on being Gators.
View moreLiving on campus is great! Along with adapting to living on your own, the convenience of living within a fifteen minute walk of all your classes comes with the convenience of running back to your dorm between classes and getting some fresh air while you walk to class. Dorms are the best way to meet new people in my opinion! Whether you’re cooking together in the kitchen, catching up on your favorite TV shows in the social room, or attending one of the fun social gatherings in the dorm room, fun new friends with interesting interests are around every corner.
View moreUF academics are their best strength. Not only is it known as a prestigious school, but it gives you a good feeling as a student knowing that students around you had to meet the same criteria as you to be admitted. O However, I find taking classes that require less intellect and work to pass doesn’t feel like working as hard, but I’m pursuing a double major and am impressed with the level of academics. Don’t underestimate the difficulty of grass courses. Classes like General Chemistry and Calculus are extremely demanding for freshmen, but if you utilize all of the study resources offered both on and off campus, you can pass.
View moreThe university is good with amazing facilities, but for me time is an issue to take the benefit from it.
Sometimes you want to do something but professors egos will stop you from doing that.
Mostly considered as a self-study environment until we had a new faculty who was interested to teach.
