If you are looking to attend UF’s BA in Digital Arts and Sciences program, find somewhere else to go and save your money, time, and energy! It is a new program designed to scam people out of their money and time. They are not selective in who they accept into the program at all, and do not prepare their students to be industry portfolio ready for ANY of the industries they teach. They overwork you and spread you thin in too many unrelated subjects for you to be proficient in any of them. STUDENTS BEWARE! You are better off trying literally any other major at the school, because they all seem reputable and produce more industry ready graduates compared to this program. Most of the people who graduate from this program end up unemployed for years or employed in something completely unrelated, like Walmart. But in UF’s graphic design program (which is an actual established reputable major) all of the graduates hit the ground running after graduation.
