CSU is a very open and inviting campus with very kind people. The campus is beautiful, with tall trees, colorful flowers, and many places to sit and collect your thoughts outdoors. I have come into contact with many academic advisors who are life savers and truly want to see your succeed. I feel that they make Colorado State University as impressive as it is. The amount of support here is what made me choose this college amongst others I was accepted into.

As a first generation student, attending Colorado State University was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had in my adult life. Not only did CSU offer me a full ride scholarship to attend, but they also provided me the opportunity to travel the world with their sponsored education abroad program called Semester at Sea! The course curriculum offered by CSU fit in perfectly with my course plan I had while I was abroad. I also had many options to sign up for scholarships with the university in order to afford the ed-abroad program! I never look back at my attendance at CSU as I had a great course curriculum along with the opportunity to travel in 13 countries spread out across 3 continents!

At CSU I felt that there were high expectations placed under students to be academically successful. While their expectations are high, they provide a lot of assistance to become academically successful, however, it’s up to the student to take the initiative. While it’s okay to relax and have fun, it’s important to stay on top of school work!
Diversity is on the low as CSU is predominantly Caucasian, however, as an Asian, I felt welcomed by my peers and that race did not matter.
The Campus is very spacious and there’s a lot offered. The Lory Student Center and CSU Rec Center are hotspots along with the Oval, and the plaza.
Many of my professors in the past year and this semester have been incredibly understanding either with unexpected situations or miscommunication. I realized this a bit late, but it’s essential to reach out to your professors if you want to succeed in college.
The local area is a college town and has a lot to offer. Definitely check it out!

I adore the atmosphere at CSU. There are several initiatives that support equity, inclusion, and diversity. I take part in CSU’s PLP (Presidents Leadership Program), a course that enables students to minor in leadership. At CSU, leadership is evident across the whole culture. I also like that CSU has the Rams Against Hunger program, which tackles the hunger problem that many college students experience.

I adore the campus because it is incredibly diverse and because everyone is so warm and accepting. Despite the fact that the institution is so pricey, it is still affordable and has a lot going for it. I like that there are so many opportunities to get outside and exercise on campus, such as biking to class, playing beach volleyball, and having access to the gym for the majority of the day. I have enjoyed my stay here so far and wouldn’t trade it for anything. The living halls are peaceful and convenient for studying, and the cuisine in the dining halls is excellent. On campus, there is a sizable library where we may study at any time.
Having access to these varied facilities has been very beneficial to me throughout the last year, and I anticipate using them while I complete my Bachelor’s degree. Due to the lecturers’ intense interest in the subject matter, participation in classwork is encouraged. Generally speaking, I have enjoyed my stay here.

Colorado State University is a fantastic institution because it offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to become engaged in the community. There is a lot of student representation at the school, and everyone is quite pleasant, so students have the authority to alter the campus to suit their requirements. Colorado State University, in my opinion, provides new students with the ideal environment. There are many resources available everywhere, especially at the CSU Health Center, and everyone is quite kind. However, CSU withholds crucial information that might influence both your academic performance and your ability to get financial help. Additionally, particularly in the business school, there are some instructors who don’t do a good job of instructing and are solely in it for the money. Amazing instructors do exist here, but they are extremely hard to find. I don’t want to imply that my time here hasn’t taught me anything. I’ve gained knowledge from both my academic studies and my time here at the university as a student. While some of these encounters were positive and some negative, they have all shaped who I am now.

Colorado State offers a very user-friendly online campus with a wealth of helpful advisers, including current students who understand precisely how it feels to be in your situation as a first-year university student. Online onboarding made the process simple, and everyone was nice.
You may simply contact your lecturers or guidance counselors in addition to having easy access to the website. Excellent response times enable open conversation. You can engage with classmates in the online program just like you would on campus.
