The small class sizes are good and I did feel like every professor knew me by a first-name basis. My program, Digital Media Production, however, did lack some of the real-world practicality I was seeking. Equipment was sparse, and other students didn’t take things very seriously. The course load mostly consisted of lecture-heavy classes and fewer courses that required you to get out into the field and make stuff.
View moreFlagler college is a very good school academically, however, the dorms are bad, the food is bad and most of the people are bad. Very wealthy stuck up population. Don’t come here unless you are wealthy and preppy
View moreProfessors are so knowledgeable in their fields and have such a passion for students to gain understanding of whatever field. Such an amazing college and a lot of networking and private workshop opportunities!
View moreThe college is disorganized and impossible to transfer out of. It is a waste of money to go to a school where the credits do not transfer. The school is gorgeous on the outside but disgusting on the inside. They repaint over the dust every few years but it’s still gross. The people at this school are about as mature as high schoolers and nothing happens on the weekend. I met a few good close friends but other than that everyone was very cliquey. The facilities management sucks they will never help you even when you are begging for it. They ignore serious issues such as mould and the huge termite problem. Do not live on campus you will get sick.
View moreFlagler College has been a school close to my heart since I was a little girl. I have been vacationing here since I was about 5 years old and I always looked at the huge, hacienda-like college and saw myself attending Flagler one day, spending study days at the beach, running into tourists on coffee dates, and enjoying the sunshine. The professors at Flagler College are amazing and engaging. My peers are my closest friends and everyone gets along. The historical feel of St. Augustine is a never-ending plus.
