My courses and experiences at Emory and; Henry were superb. Though I complained sometimes about having to take my required liberal arts classes to add to my graduation checklist, I currently find myself referring back to these courses in everyday conversations and job prospects. Having a liberal arts education completely broadened my worldview while the small classes and enlightening conversations with my professors allowed me to specialize in a topic of my choice as well. The region of Appalachia will always hold a special place in my heart, and I have Emory and; Henry to thank for wanting me to foster change and improvement in the region as a whole. I know I don’t speak for everyone, but I am still glad that I made the “small college” decision. Stingers up!
