Going back to college was a bit daunting being in my early 30s. I already had an A.A. and choose their Visual Communication Design program as all the classes required for the degree were easily accessible from the Catalyst Building within Spokane. I only had to go to Cheney a few times for non-class related things.
The professors and instructors all had real life experience within the industry, ranging from design to illustration. The instructors would see you put in the hard work in your projects and grade accordingly based on that.
I only had one bad experience and it was with the Capstone class which felt lackluster and made me feel genuinely bad about myself and not encouraging at all.
