The urban planning program boasts enthusiastic, committed, and captivating faculty members. The classes are intimate, typically accommodating fewer than 20 students, ensuring personalized support. The program’s advising professors are notably supportive, assisting students in securing scholarships and accessing various resources. However, it should be noted that 1.) the program emphasises academic pursuits rather than practical career preparation, and 2.) finding employment in my field after graduation proved to be extremely challenging.

The University has a beautiful and helpful learning environment. The professors are dedicated to making sure their students understand the course material. I suggest the academic programs and services to new students who want a great place to learn.

The university is an outstanding institution where students are enthusiastic, friendly, and committed to their studies. The faculty members are exceptional; they show a real concern for their students and are always available to speak with them. Moreover, there are numerous opportunities for undergraduate research. Overall, the institution is superb. I really love it here

The University of Virginia is not for everyone. I think two of the major aspects that people consider when transferring to a new school are one: if it is good academically, and two: whether or not it is diverse. My sister and I enrolled in this school because it was very comparable to an Ivy League (and still is) and because it had one of the best Nursing and Architecture programs nationwide. We knew that we would be in an environment where we would be intellectually and physically challenged, and boy were we right. Academic-wise, UVA has lived up to its praise. However, diversity was something that really made me question whether or not I wanted to finally enrol and make the decision of going to this school. And even though in the end, it was not all that diverse, it had a good amount of Hispanic members for me to feel like I was not going to be alone. I do have to say though if you don’t go looking, or enrol in diverse classes, you’re more than likely not going to run into anyone that is Hispanic or Black. The majority of the students are of caucasian descent. I think because of that, I still feel a bit lonely sometimes, but I’ve been getting around just fine. When it comes to the architecture program, if I am being honest, I rarely sleep. And yes I procrastinate, but very little. I am, however, a perfectionist. Although, even if I was not, I’d say the program is a bit too harsh on the students with a very packed and strict schedule. I think our health is more important and the curriculum should certainly be changed.

Finally, I have to say the UVA campus is breathtaking. If you’re too used to the urban environment and need a bit more rural in your life, this is the place for you.
