I came to csula straight out of high school my freshman year. I was disappointed at first because csula wasn’t my first choice. I slowly realized that it wasn’t a bad choice at all. I joined a sorority my freshman year. I learned that there were opportunities to get involved on campus. Teachers are usually quite honest, I haven’t met anyone unreasonably bad. Most teachers also teach well, some are better than others. There are 6 restaurants on campus, one where alcohol is sold and there are food trucks every day so there is a lot of diversity. Csula’s parties are generally small and full. I don’t like sports, but I really wish there was a football team! I think it would bring a lot of income and school spirit. I did my freshman year and the dorms aren’t bad. In a house with 8 girls, there are 4 bedrooms and 2 furnished bathrooms. Residence and tuition are expensive, but very cheap compared to other schools!
