Great Supporting Staff
Most of the faculty are very supportive, as are some administrators. I was fortunate to have professors who cared about their students as a whole, not just academically. Some have acted as mentors in addition to their roles as professors. The value of some specific core courses more than offset the cost of the lessons, with workshops and hands-on experience in the field. CSULA also offers sororities to provide support and experience to students who want to enter certain fields of study. The campus is well maintained and easy to navigate, with many useful resources for students. Food on campus is excellent, varied and reasonably priced for students.
