I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Northeastern University. I discovered a fantastic community of like-minded individuals and formed lifelong friendships. The campus is expansive and aesthetically pleasing, providing a quintessential college atmosphere while still being conveniently close to the city. Boston, although relatively tranquil, offers a plethora of off-campus activities, and on campus, there is no shortage of engaging pursuits. The dormitories are exceptional, particularly for upperclassmen and Honors students, surpassing those at other universities I have visited. Northeastern University boasts a strong international presence, offering numerous opportunities for studying and working abroad, along with a diverse international student body. Graduates from Northeastern are notably more prepared for the workforce, enjoying a competitive edge in terms of practical experience and subsequent career prospects.
View moreDuring my initial year at Northeastern, I felt nervous about starting at a new school by myself. I worried about making friends and navigating the campus. Over time, these fears vanished, and I discovered welcoming environments and like-minded individuals. Besides the friendships I made at Northeastern, I value the co-op program for its significant role in helping students succeed in the future.
View moreI had a great experience at Northeastern University. The campus is vibrant and full of energy. The professors were exceptional and very knowledgeable. Northeastern offers fantastic online programs for working individuals, which I found very beneficial. I particularly enjoyed the programs and the flexibility they provided, allowing me to balance work and school. At Florida International University, I appreciated the projects the most. They enabled us to engage and collaborate with our peers online, giving me a sense of being physically present at school. I would highly recommend these universities to anyone.
View moreRather than focusing on abstract concepts, Northeastern’s engineering program focuses far more heavily on project based learning. Much of the program centers around the practical applications of engineering. Applications which are far more relevant in a real professional environment. However, this real world focus also causes faculty to be less hands on with students, as they expect us to solve problems and learn more independently, rather than guide us on every step.
