View moreThe biggest thing I love about Boston
College is the atmosphere. I get a real
campus vibe without having to leave the state. I am always supported by my people of color and everyone else. My classmates give me a warm welcome and we always pick
ourselves up when we’re downstairs and enjoy off-campus life when we have some free time. I would recommend British
Columbia to anyone looking for a fun,
challenging, and safe environment to pursue a college education. The campus is beautiful!
l also like the variety and the teachers are very competent. I’m sure Boston College will become even more popular and prestigious in the future. I highly recommend
The campus (REC) where I study is beautiful,
it has pleasant classrooms which are suitable for this
our needs. Wherever you went to
University, there was a regular shortage
study places before COVID. Lessons
well, the read load is considerable (40-50
pages per week is typical), but ComSci is free
strict about his exams. The majority of
are still closed books exams and essays
they often take their place. From the university
way to force yourself to study is actually
resembling a mother bird throwing her child
out of the nest to learn to fly. There are many facilities you can use, however
You would have to actively hunt them. They are
beneficial, but only so far.
It was the people that were amazing not the professors. I don’t think the professors helped as much as meeting a lot of people. The program is good there are a lot of extra help places and office hours from professors.
View moreThe housing and residence life management are terrible. The academic programs more or less place some limitation to what I wanted to pursue. Tuition is expensive but aid is generous. The grading system is very harsh and we get really low grades usually. Advising departments are unwilling to accommodate students’ need for more class sections. I had classes overlapping each other and my advisor forced me to drop courses that I want to take since they think that I am incapable of taking the classes just yet, without letting me trying for a week or so.
View moreBU is located in a big city Boston so everything here is expensive. There are not enough computers in the library so you have to bring your laptop with you if you want to study there. Also, there are not plenty of classes every semester so you probably have to wait for another 1 or 2 semesters if you did not enrol in one of the required classes.
