In addition to having helpful teachers that pay attention to your requirements, they provide a ton of research opportunities that can appropriately prepare you for medical school. It’s easy to meet other college students on the campus and in the neighborhood overall.

View moreScientists at BU cannot be easily summed up. Some professors are good at doing, they like to teach and explain well. Others are too interested in their research and don’t really know how to teach and/or can get depressed. Office hours range from great to downright boring, but that’s to be expected of any major university. Unfortunately, price gouging has become the norm at BU, and while it doesn’t happen in every class, when it does, it’s pretty impressive. BU has the highest inflation rate in the country – this is not a reason not to go here, but something to be aware of. The kids here are smart, they work very hard, but the average GPA at BU is much lower than that of kids at similar schools. There is little to be granted as you read this. If you come here, know that you will definitely get great classes with passionate professors (especially in your majors), but some classes will be harder (and maybe even harder) to get good grades.
