The Professors are awesome and you get a lot of opportunities to get involved both on and off Campus. The campus is very lovely. The community of people are welcoming, super nice, and entertaining. The dining halls have popular music from throughout the decade playing and the overall atmosphere is super relaxing and enjoyable.

As a school without football, some arrive at Emory worried there will be no community. And it’s true there is no passionate football community. Instead, school pride comes from academics, music, volunteer experiences, sports, a sense of diversity, etc. It feels like everyone at Emory is passionate about something- whether it is their chemistry research or volunteering with children with disabilities or their acapella group. The students are friendly and welcoming, and you can just strike up a conversation with them about how they are making an impact in the world. Also, the school is very diverse and proud of that. Everything from identity spaces to career events for underrepresented groups to events showcasing international cultures, it’s an accepting place. Further, there are a variety of academic resources and technology with really knowledgeable and passionate professors. Academics can be intense and at a high level, and it’s expected that students will devote considerable time to their studies. However, your life is not just your courses- you can still have a social life and be involved in extracurriculars.
