There are alot to do around campus. Mill Avenue is magnificent for bar and club hopping at night and culinary delights and shopping during the day. Every cuisine imaginable is available near ASU, from amazing ramen and burgers to authentic Indian cuisine, Mexican cuisine and Greek cuisine. Even better, most restaurants are open very late for the late-night study sessions that characterize the college. I feel extremely safe around ASU both on and off campus, as the Tempe PD is extremely vigilant and crime efficient. If you failed a test or just had a breakup (or are hungover), the local restaurateur will be more than happy to sit down and listen for a while. All in all, Tempe is one of the most amazing places because whether you’re a partier or a cooped-up nerd, there’s always something to do.
