Generally well thought out. UA strives to keep rooms bright to attract prospective students. As a student who lives off campus but spends most of the day studying or taking classes on campus, there are always places to study and relax: Mary Graydon is pleasantly quiet and loud in the morning and bustling with people in the morning afternoon/early evening, and the little cyber lounge area is nice. Kogod has the best lounges, but Batelle’s atrium is nice and Katzen is pleasantly empty most of the time. The library is one of the least attractive buildings you’ll see, but they try to fit as many couches, tables, etc. may be available. The Jacobs Fitness Center is oddly designed and the cardio machines upstairs fill up during peak times, but it’s clean. Student activities can be complicated, but once you get to know them in the context of your student body, it’s quite easy to book spaces on campus for meetings and activities
