Adelphi University (reviews)

The administration of the university is a nightmare, and as a result, none of the promised programs or services are actually available. I was pushed to commit to a major that the university removed before my four years was up. This meant that I spent most of my senior year fighting with administration simply to graduate. Additionally, there is little support for current students or alumni, as following graduation I reached out for career advice and job placement and was ignored multiple times. The dorm situation is terrible, and the housing staff actively endangers students by hiring known predators to work for them. I absolutely could not recommend anything less than I recommend going to Adelphi

The University offers a great amount of academic classes, diversity, fun events, and more. Adelphi feels like my home away from home. I have established many friendships attending social events, gained immense knowledge in classes, and got to embrace myself.

Adelphi University is known for its inclusive community, most of the students that attend Adelphi are either international students or students from different backgrounds, and this allows for an open-minded community that respects and learns about other cultures, religions political systems and etc. The only apparent gap in Adelphi’s overall success is the constantly growing tuition rate.
