Student review [#47130] for Visual Development
at Academy of Art University: Art and Design School - AAU

My experience thus far at AAU has been a positive one.
I can’t speak on on-campus life or classes, but I have been very happy with their overall virtual educational program.
All of my professors are fantastic. They respond quickly, in a friendly manner, and are more than happy to give a little extra aid to those who need it.
Every class I have taken has been informative, well paced, and interesting. They have a large variety of art courses, ranging from Fine Arts to literature and writing. As someone who is pursuing a BFA in Visual Development, I have taken many courses from various sections of their available course catalog, and I’ve loved every single one of them.
My only major critique, or bad experience I’ve had so far is with their disbursement system, which I believe could be improved, as it has been taking longer and longer to receive disbursements each semester regardless of when tuition is paid.
Overall, this is my favorite university I have attended to date(I have been to both University of Alaska and George Washington University as well), and I would highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a degree in the arts.
