Studying here has been one of the best experiences of my life. The university is known for being really good at engineering, and you can feel that in every class—they’re all super interesting and taught really well. I’d definitely tell other students to come here if they’re thinking about doing a Master’s in engineering management.
The school is very well run, and they really care about helping students succeed. One of the best things is the career office—they help you find internships and jobs, which is a huge help. I also loved how many student clubs there are. There’s always something fun going on, and it’s a great way to meet people and feel part of the community.

Studying in the UK has been a good experience overall, and York—especially at York St. John—does a great job with advanced programs. The campus looks great and has plenty of facilities. I also like that most classes are small, so it’s easier to focus and work with others. Another thing that works well for me is the mix of on-campus and online teaching—it makes studying more flexible and leaves me time to work on the side.
View moreThis university has come a long way since I joined, and for a young institution, that’s expected. The teaching approach is modern and feels right for today’s world. But not everyone’s pulling their weight. You’ll notice quick divides in class—some are focused and driven, while others just coast. At a school this size, that pattern shows up in nearly every department.

The campus looks modern enough, and there are plenty of programs to choose from, especially if you’re into subjects like marketing, business, or engineering. What stands out is the diverse student body—it’s an open-minded place where you meet all sorts of people. A small downside is that a few buildings could use some updates and better equipment, depending on your course. Still, it’s a solid choice overall.
