So if you’re looking for a a big city university then you may want to look into other unis. I am a marketing student and if your considering marketing at the uni of York you should know that you can be mixed with Business Managment students and you do have to take some of their modules such as economics. If you’re only interesting in marketing this can not be the most enjoyable. The marketing modules at the University of York however are extremely engaging and there are fun activities in the seminars. All of the staff at the University are very friendly and you are always welcome to contact them if you need support with anything or have any questions. The University is not located in the city centre so you should bear in mind that you have to pay for a short bus ride if you’re looking to go shopping or to a nice cafe. Nevertheless, there are coffee shops and places to get food on campus such as a Greggs and papa johns. York is a lovely place so if your considering this University, definitely take a visit.

The university provides support throughout the year and there are a lot of opportunities provided for students even outside their course. However, the cost of living in York is high and it is also a small city.

View moreIt has a beautiful campus and the town is very lovely too. The university is split into two campuses and the commute between them is a 15-minute walk. The east campus has a homely feeling to it and is very close to the campus gym. The west campus hosts most of the student events and also right next to the university library. Would definetely recommend for both undergrad and postgrad degree.
