My experience at Warwick Business School was everything I could have asked for and more.
In terms of academics, the classes are very stimulating, and the lecturers are very helpful when contacted in their contact hours. There is also a lot of academic support- essay writing, etc to help you do well.
The facilities at WBS, in particular, are very modern and there are a lot of efforts made to improve student wellbeing
WBS is also very international. In my cohort, we have people from all around the globe. There are also several opportunities to study/work abroad and many degrees such as International Management and international business have this integrated through an additional year.
There are several opportunities to network and gain skills to further your career. There are several careers fairs involving recruiters from finance, consulting, retail etc. There is a lot of support for placements as well and if you start thinking about your career early, then the careers team can really help you towards getting your preferred job
In terms of cons, being an hour away from London is a drawback, but university accommodation is social, and student life is great in Leamington Spa. There is also a lot to do on campus- with several societies including academic ones such as Warwick consulting society and Warwick business school society and nonacademics ones such as game of thrones and harry potter.
I would definitely recommend studying an undergraduate degree at WBS to a friend, and I would also advise them to start thinking about their career early on so that they can maximise their use of the universities resources
