I am a Law and Business student. So, coming from India to Uk was a very big achievement and a life-changing experience for me. What we normally watch in the movies is how I had expected my life to be here. Not fully but up to some extent it was and hopefully will be similar.
I just completed my second year. Last year Stayed on campus. My accommodation was Lakeside. Though a little far from the central campus but I miss that scenic beauty the most. Waking up the noises of the birds and ducks, with the view of the lake. It was more like a vacation room and the view. My flatmates were really helpful. We spent a really good time with each other, having movie nights, pizza nights, studying together. It’s overall a very different experience.
In my second year, I moved to Leamington. And there now all my friends stayed together. So, this place had become like a home. These days I miss that home the most. Leamington is such a cosy and beautiful town. I really love that place, my university life so much.
I have faced a lot of challenges, ups and downs. If it was related to anything about modules that I had, my course tutor along with my personal tutor has always supported me, guided me that what to do and how to make things better. There are so many library sessions, just to teach us how to access everything online.
I have been an active member of the Warwick Volunteers which I genuinely love and even when I was home during this Covid period I did volunteering from home. every day is a new day, I learn something new cherishing my university life.
