Student life at Strathclyde

I am a 3rd year Humanities and Social Science student at Strathclyde University. My appreciation for university has only grown over the last 2.5 years. The courses and academic support that universities offer are among their main attractions. The humanities and social science faculty have been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The lecturers have always invested more time and effort than required to help with any questions without judgment. They not only assist with academics, but they have continuously demonstrated that they can also be of assistance with professional advancement and chances.
Moreover, the campus facilities, such as the Library, Learning and Teaching building, Wellbeing and Disability Services to name a few, have contributed to a conducive learning environment. Along with that, one aspect that I believe highlights University of Strathclyde, is their variety of societies. The extracurricular opportunities, particularly through societies such as Women in Leadership, have allowed me to engage with my peers and develop valuable skills outside the campus.
Even though my experience has been good overall, I think the academic setup could be better. In particular, regarding setting deadlines for assignments near exam time and making up for lessons missed due to strikes. I think tackling these issues could lead to a complete university education.
