Student review [#37132] for Biomedical Science
at University of Sheffield

When I first came to this city, I was merely an International student stuck in an unknown city during COVID. Homesick and isolated, I wasn’t entirely sure if I wanted to stay here anymore. However, the minute my quarantine got over, I stepped outside and was welcomed by the sweetest people and lecturers at the university. I felt at home with all the Indian restaurants around, the big and small businesses, it was like a little city from a fairytale. This univeristy is based in a student city, which means that you are never alone. Everywhere you look, you will find people who are in the same boat as you. From studying to partying, you make new and unforgettable friends that you never thought you could have. Specific to my course (Biomedical Sciences), this University is known for its research in that field and has some of the best equipment and technology provided. As I come to the end of my degree, I don’t regret for a second that I chose to spend 3 years of my life in this city and University. I can now proudly call it Home.
