Student review [#23701] for Social Policy and Sociology
at University of Sheffield

The University of Sheffield is known for its fantastic nightlife and student experience thanks to this its Student Union continuously being ranked as the best Student Union in the country for the past 5 years. I’m proud to be a part of such a lively and outgoing university which prides itself on its student-centred mindset which allows events to be impactful and relatable to all types of student interests. However, these outstanding accolades and achievements by the university do come with their faults. As the university has been struggling with student engagement at times especially when it comes to events cultural events as these don’t usually garner a lot of attention from the wider student population, however, that’s something I would personally like to change with my recent appointment as a student ambassador to my university course hoping to expose the beauty of multiculturalism and diversity to as many people as I can while in the position.
