The classes were very interesting and informative and the professors worked hard to provide support and advice to produce high-quality work and assessments. All the modules I chose were important to develop my knowledge and skills for my Master’s applications. I believe a few assessments were slight difficult but for the ones I worked hard for, I was rewarded with high grades.
I believe for a media course, we should have been provided a lot more practical, hands-on opportunities to develop our media skills such as more placements in media sectors to really expand our knowledge for the future. I believe career prospects are still high but it also depends on my practical work which the course really should improve on.
A very impressive and one of the best aspects of the university is how helpful the Student Services is to provide the right mechanisms to help our education and learning during covid, for those who are struggling. They provided a huge amount of help and went above and beyond to provide more provisions, time and support with my assessments so I could fully show my capabilities. Their advice with CVs is also very helpful. I would highly recommend their services.
There are nearly a hundred societies, so a very versatile range to showcase your interests and talents. I would highly recommend studying at Nottingham University.
