I did both a BA and MSc at Leeds University and loved my time there. If you take initiative there is so much to do and learn. There is career support as well as mental health support if you are struggling with stress or some personal issues. The University has good facilities, 24/7 computer clusters, online library.
The city is very lively and youthful. It is not as expensive as London, so if you are on a budget you get to have a decent lifestyle.
I absolutely loved the Leeds University Union! Getting involved with clubs and societies was great fun (try to Get Out Get Active ) but also allowed me to get some experience that I could leverage at job interviews, too. I would strongly encourage anyone to get involved with union – makes it so much easier to make friends and build a network.
