Student review [#18717] for Sociology
at University of Kent

I completed 4 years at UKC (BA in Liberal Arts + MA in Sociology) and both programmes were extremely insightful. The liberal arts program is an avant-garde, interdisciplinary learning experience that I would highly recommend, as it (especially at Kent) allowed students to explore freely their interests across subjects. The graduate sociology school and research program are notorious and I have had incredible teachers, who have stimulated new interests and passions in me. The campus provides many opportunities to do sports or arts and the town (Canterbury) is in itself very small and quiet, but when students arrive or are out the town becomes lively! In my opinion one of the best student towns in England. It’s also close to London (only 1 hour by train!).
