Overall, I’ve had a positive experience studying Computer Science at the University of Greenwich. I really like the Greenwich campus and its location, and one of the things I appreciated most was the diversity of the university. I’ve met and worked with students from many different backgrounds, which made the experience more enjoyable.
The Computer Science course offered a good variety of modules, allowing me to develop skills across different areas of computing. I particularly valued the support available from lecturers and my personal/academic tutors. Whenever I needed advice about my studies or university life, I felt that there was someone I could approach for guidance. The university officially provides dedicated academic tutors alongside other study support, which reflects my experience.
The main issue I experienced was with timetabling during my first year. There were quite a few timetable clashes, which could be frustrating and made organising classes difficult. However, this improved significantly in my second and third years, and I had far fewer issues.
Overall, I would recommend the University of Greenwich, especially to students looking to study Computer Science in a diverse environment with a nice campus and good academic support.
