I studied online via University of Chichester teaching partner Xenophon College London. Both XCL and the University of Chichester had been sort of my home for 2 years. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I felt no stress there, assignments despite being challenging, did not create any stress, lessons were engaging – combining knowledge and practical skills. It was also thanks to my professors who were professionals in their field and provided answers to my never-ending questions. The environment despite being online was welcoming and I met many interesting people with whom I created long lasting friendships.
The disadvantage was communication on some level, mainly receiving email responses was quite a lenghty process but it was already sorted.
I would also pinpoint the situation and the support I receive. I took care of my sick grandma and during an online call she came to my room seeking help. The dean and the assistant were amazing, asking me if I need anything or if I need a break or more time to do my assignment due to the difficult situation I was in. Those simple questions offered me a reasurance that I am not alone and I can ask for help or just talk about my struggles. Thank you for that!
Overall, my experience was highly positive, so if people wonder whether be a student at Chichester, I suggest, do it!
