Uclan has an excellent blended teaching style. Whilst lectures are online, seminars and workshops are face to face giving students the ability to attend university and learn in class and remain safe due to reduced people in each class. The pharmacy course has PPE AND IPE sessions where students are given the opportunity to apply their learning to real-life scenarios. Students get to meet patients and interact with them as they would in real life. This definitely enhances knowledge and improves communication skills. Furthermore, meeting and working with other healthcare professions students such as nurses, doctors and midwives give us pharmacy students the experience of working with other professionals and improves our teamwork skills. I would definitely recommend UCLan to my friends and family. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the campus is very safe
