To begin with, during my master degree at University of Glasgow I spend some semesters at other universities, too. One semester was spent at University of Malta, one at Lisbon Institute and a summer school at Wgeninghen University.
Regarding University of Glasgow, I must say that it offers a high level of education and a deep insight on the field studied.
I enjoyed the classes and the teaching methods since they were engaging the students a lot. We had a deep understanding on the subject studied and plenty of reference to look into between the classes each week, and of course homework that was relevant to the dicussions of each lecture and based on the reference we had to study. Therefore the critical thinking was developing as well as a deeper understanding of the subject and a good introduction to research. This method helped us a lot understand how we will work also during the desertation and of course due to the homework we had all the semester it made it less stressful at the evaluation time since it was based on the whole semester work.
Now, regarding the campus, the building of teh university is amazing and has all the facilities a stdent may need, while it is located near the center of the city of Glasgow. It is a great location and someone can find a house relatively easy, and of course transport very easy. There are a lot of options for entertainment and a good connection to other cities or even countries since the airport of Glasgow is relatively big.
