Studying Theatre Studies at the University Of Glasgow has allowed me to learn about several dramaturgical and Theatrical theories ranging from semiotics all the way back to Ancient Theatre. This course for the first half takes you on a journey through the past of theatre and why it is important, it involves politics and the mundane every day to show how greatly theatre spans to our own lives. I would recommend this course to those interested in the way theatre works from the backgrounds and the ideas which stem from typical theatre that we see on a stage today! Furthermore the staff and Convenors are always there to lend a helping hand many of them hold office hours or will stay behind on seminars to answer those burning questions. All around a brilliant course and a decent workload.
