Student review [#44684] for Contemporary Dance
at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance

I decided to pursue a career as a dancer and to become a dancer you need to move and gain more movement skills. This course was (I would say) 80% practical, which was great because that is what we needed- proper training. I wanted to gain more technical base in my dance and I did. Moreover, additional not-compulsory supplementary training is a great way how to get even more dance and movement skilled and aware of your body. However, on the other side, I would wish to do more performances and get more opportunities to work with choreographers in nowadays industry. Moreover, the theoretical subjects were good however some of them would be nicer to go deeper and not stay just on the surface (ex. the science behind the dance and body, nutrition, sport science, physiology, biomechanics, etc.)
