I completed my undergraduate degree at Swansea Uni and I am currently finishing my Masters degree there as well. It has been nothing short of amazing. The teachers are both knowledgeable and incredibly approachable. Singleton Campus is great, 10min walk to a massive beach and parks all around. I am very happy about deciding to move to Swansea and study at Swansea University as I have been welcomed from the start.
View moreThe teaching staff are really nice and enthusiastic with their teaching. They’re always willing to help and answer questions. The collection of books in the library is quite rich. The overall atmosphere is very pleasing, and the surrounding area is really calming since the Singleton campus, where I attended all my lectures and seminars, is located in a park.
View moreI’ve had a good experience overall at Swansea this year. The MA TESOL course was well organised for the most part, and most lecturers were approachable and knowledgeable. I don’t have anything to say about accommodation or the student union / social aspects of the uni since I wasn’t living on campus or particularly Involved with societies etc. That being said, the uni seems to have a lot of facilities, clubs and events for students. The library is very good, and the library staff are very helpful. Due to COVID-19, there were some hiccups with regard to the transition to online teaching and some other smaller issues that perhaps could have been dealt with earlier than they were. I recommend Swansea Uni to anyone who’s hoping to study there.
