My first year studying Politics in Southampton has been really interesting and insightful. The facilities we were in for most of our lectures were modern and comfortable. Most of the lecturers were really engaging and helpful, however when some of the teaching was done online, it was hard to understand them and fully engage as it felt like they were just talking at me. Most modules are independent which is brilliant because when there were group modules, some course mates were unreliable and that caused a lot of stress and added work when they did not contribute. Overall though, the course has been interesting and fun as well as having brilliant lectures on a really nice campus which has everything you could need.
