The university is a friendly, warm and welcoming place full of research and innovation.

I like the university’s location, the focus on research and the community feeling. I think it can be further improved by improving the methods of measuring student outcome and progress.

University of southampton is a great centre of learning in a convenient location. Excellent amenities to support the students, awesome programs with fabulous and amazing teachers that guide and teach the students. The campus is stunning with a welcoming atmosphere, accomodations are low cost and affordable.

One thing I appreciate the most is how they balance the arrangement of lectures, seminars and workshops every week. Some of the lectures are recorded or conducted online, which allows us to be well prepared for the more practical seminars and workshops. I always enjoy discussing and sharing thoughts with all the classmates and our tutors during the seminars and feel satisfied with the results we have achieved by putting theories into practice in those workshops. On top of that, the fact that the faculties are always patient and they are always ready to help with anything, even things outside of school that makes me feel really grateful and lucky to be here as an international student.

I like the University of Southampton very much. Firstly, the University of Southampton is located in the south of England, the climate is not as cold as that of Scotland. Secondly, Southampton is near the sea and the scenery is very beautiful. Secondly, the pace of life in Southampton is not fast and there are not many courses, so we will have plenty of spare time to explore our hobbies. Finally, the teachers in the school are very friendly.

A great thing about the programme is its design to help the students to improve their research skills;
It is important to mention that all the teachers are prepared to teach international students;
The university facilities and students’ support are great;
A point to improve is career support. It is currently very well designed to help undergrad students but not too helpful to master’s students.

I thoroughly enjoyed studying Geography at the University of Southampton. The green Highfield campus had a variety of facilities that made it really enjoyable to visit.

There were so many fantastic educational and social opportunities that were available to us for the whole duration of our programme and we even have access to a hub of resources for up to five years after we graduate.

I was encouraged to be curious, creative and independent within my work and found the student support within the University was reassuring.

I would definitely recommend the University to those who do not want to live in such a big city but still want to be able to enjoy a vibrant space with plenty to do.

The University of Southampton has good teaching professors and library. All of the modules are related to one’s profession. There is everything on campus which the students may need. The social life and well being are well organized.

The University of Southampton is one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom. It is an amazing place to study. A lot of facilities in order supporting students. Professional academia in several subjects works hardly.

The university provides a conducive environment for PhD research students.
We have positive and encouraging support from the research centres. Students also have the opportunities to involve in many seminars, attend classes, and participate in conferences. I enjoyed the experiences of being one of the organising committee members of the PGR student-led conferences, not once, but thrice, as well as being the Southampton Education School Student Representative. Being awarded the Poster Award First Prize is another achievement that every PhD students could have during the Doctorate Research FestivalI also love the university accommodation. Superb!

I spent 5 years here and the university, staff and facilities were amazing. Accommodation is available within walking distance from university and shops are conveniently located near campus. The library provides all the resources you need and the sports facilities are within campus. I highly recommend it.
