SOAS University of London offers a unique and diverse learning experience with a strong focus on global perspectives. This has deepened my understanding of international business and cultural issues. Many professors are supportive, offering detailed feedback and extra appointments, which has significantly helped me in certain subjects. However, not all classes are as interactive, requiring extra effort and independent research, which has also strengthened my self-learning skills.

The international student community at SOAS is one of its biggest strengths. Connecting with people from various backgrounds has broadened my perspective and enriched my academic experience. The library is my favorite spot on campus, especially during exam season, with its large windows and peaceful study areas.

Additionally, serving as the Social Media Manager for the SOAS Volleyball Team has allowed me to build creative and organisational skills while contributing to student life

While some professors are incredibly supportive, a few classes could be more engaging. More interactive lessons and practical applications would enhance the overall learning experience. Additionally, some administrative processes can be slow, and quicker responses with more streamlined communication from student services would be beneficial

I would recommend SOAS to anyone looking for a university with a strong international focus. If you’re interested in learning about global issues, building connections with people from around the world, and gaining practical skills, SOAS is a fantastic choice.
