Although some of its buildings are more recent, the University of Sheffield is stunning and has a charm. It is located in the same-named charming small village, which is adjacent to the sea.it feels like you are on vacation every day.
View moreThe university experience is excellent overall, with the exception of the academics, which is ironic because everything else is carried out well. The academics are what I signed up for. Overall, it was a pleasant experience thanks to their ongoing efforts to uphold standards through strict evaluation. made new friends, picked up a new language, and took many trips. In fact, it raised the value of my resume.

The University of Sheffield campus is a really beautiful one, and Sheffield overall as a city is too. There are a lot of resources for students in both academic and non academic sense. The lecture halls, computer rooms, science labs, libraries, study spaces and all the facilities are latest and up to date and are very convenient to access. The university has a big focus on accessibility and diversity and you can be sure to made feel welcome here. The computer science program here may seem a bit easy in the start, however it ramps up quickly after the first month or so. However, most of the assignments and group projects are very real-world oriented. If I could change one thing about the university, I would change the location of the University Accommodation. Some of the accommodation is really close to the university, however, a large majority is about a 30 minute walk from the university buildings and Sheffield is a hilly city, so walking up is not the most fun (tbh, I’ve kinda started liking the walk now).
