I’m a third-year marketing student at Sheffield Hallam and overall I’ve really enjoyed my time here. The course is very practical, which is exactly what I was looking for. We focus on real-life marketing campaigns, current industry trends, and there’s a big emphasis on employability. I’ve had chances to build up experience with things like social media strategy and content creation, and the lecturers are actually really supportive and down to earth. Sheffield as a city is also a huge plus. It’s affordable, has a really friendly vibe, and there’s loads going on for students. Plus, having the Peak District so close is amazing when you need a break from uni life. It’s definitely a good place to study if you want something career-focused but still chilled and enjoyable.
