Overall, I enjoyed my time at Sheffield Hallam University and experienced many pros. One of the main things I can praise is the student support service in the faculty of psychology sociology and politics. As someone who struggles with their mental health, I received a lot of support through this service and they constantly catered to my needs, I don’t believe I would’ve graduated without them. I also found that some of the lecturers were very helpful, in particular my final year dissertation tutor that helped me through this stressful time. Although I would say my experience at Hallam was positive, I do believe that the psychology intake is very large which made lectures a bit hectic and access to help a bit harder.
