As a BSc student at the University of Salford currently studying Business Managment with Marketing, I was able to use my creative mind to enhance my assignments e.g. Future of Business, I was tasked to create a powerpoint about future disruptions casued by AI and Robotics however, I defied expectations by creating a short film instead, and recieving the 1st 100% grade ever given in that module. During my first year, all of my lecturers and seminar tutors were very kind, insightful, knowledgable and always there when I needed help. The Academic Personal Tutors (APTs) helped me a lot through my university life, not only academically but also personally, helping me adjust to university life. Manchester city centre is only a quick bus ride away.

My time at the University Of Salford was nothing short of transformative. The academic environment was both challenging and supportive, pushing me to think critically and broaden my understanding of my field. The professors were highly knowledgeable and always willing to offer guidance, making sure students had the tools to succeed both in class and in their future careers.

I think this is a very underrated university and is often overshadowed by UoM. However, this uni shines in the resources that are provided to the students like myself, which are underrated and under-used.

Salford university gave me the opportunity to discover my inner potential, the curriculum was adequate for my program Managing Innovation IT. The tutor were sound and general experience was good for me as an international student.

I enjoy studying business management at Salford because they balance out the different elements of business effectively through the different modules. This allows me to stay organised and structure my learning. However I do believe that sometimes they could offer better support as enquiries can only be asked through email if your not in a lecture or seminar and this method doesn’t always guarantee a response.

I am in my second year, based on the peel park campus. The library is open 24 hours which is perfect for night owls and deadlines, you can also book private study rooms and group study spaces. There is so many creative facilities including photography studios, iMacs, Graphics Tablets, 3D Printers, Laser Printers etc. You can also rent items out (eg. cameras) for free instead of buying them.
There is a cafe in most buildings, most of which sell Costa Coffee items.
There is a student store, but some items can be a tad pricey, but theres lots of shops nearby.
The bar on campus is cheap and the food is lovely.

The campus is small and compact, but it had everything we needed. There are many accommodation facilities within a 5-minute walk, and you can enjoy both alcoholic beverages, meals, and coffee at the Student Union Building. Gym with swimming pool, sauna and spa. Finally, we provide all scientific support, including lecture halls, seminar rooms, computer labs, self-study rooms, and libraries. Everything is just a short distance from each other so there is no shame.

The teachers are very friendly. I like the curriculum, which is exactly related to the current scenario.
workshops help us to teach how to manage circumstances and situations.
Library facilities are extremely advanced. the university provides a free laptop for students.
career guidance is available. career fairs are conducted for all branches. Students get personal support and advice for any related quarries. Different social activities are conducted to socialize student life. Manageable fee structure. All types of support are provided for international students. Very good and advanced campus.

UOS is a wonderful institution with tenured lecturers. The university library is fully equipped with everything a student needs. All tutors are easy and really available to help students out of lecture hours. From time to time the university board meets with students’ needs.
