Royal Holloway is a safe and beautiful campus about 40 minutes travel to central London. The Uni is relatively small so there is a stronger community atmosphere than at bigger university and high probability of bumping into people you know. The science departments are relatively small. There is a very strong emphasis on genetics with special reference to plant science and gene therapy within the molecular bio science department.
