One of my favorite aspects of university life is participating in the Debate Society, where I continue to hone my public speaking and critical thinking skills in a fun and supportive environment. The campus is a hub of activity, offering everything from state-of-the-art libraries to cozy study spots, perfect for brainstorming ideas or collaborating with peers.

What sets Reading apart is its commitment to student development. Career workshops and networking events have been game-changers, equipping me with the tools and confidence to explore my passions and plan my future.

Although no university is without its quirks—like the occasional Wi-Fi hiccup—the proactive support team ensures these are quickly resolved, allowing students to stay focused on their goals.

The University of Reading is a university with a diversity of talent ranging from the typical academic to the very creative. It was a good university in regards to meeting new people and developing independent thought. one thing that could be fixed is better communication between students and lecturers.
