Edge Hill University was my first choice when applying to universities. I knew that I wanted to be a primary school teacher, and only a small amount of research told me that Edge Hill University is one of the best places to study and create some of the best teachers. At Edge Hill, there is a large education faculty. The staff have all been teachers in the past and have even made their way to being headteachers at schools in their career. It is amazing to be able to learn from such experiences professionals as they really make you see a realistic day to day life as a teacher and are honest about the problems you will have to face. They make everything as easy as they can, with lots of resources stored online which you can access at any point. I feel really prepared for my placement, not only due to the experience I have had prior, but also because of the knowledge I have learnt since my course started.
