I strongly urge students to consider studying at NTU because of the opportunities they will get. To be taken out of your comfort zone will always feel scary, but you really will reap the benefits. The faculty at NTU are knowledgeable and well-versed in their field, and they are eager to guide you as you find your way. Academics aside, you will also personally benefit from the lifelong friends that you will make in your program, your new neighbourhood and any societies that you join. Coming to NTU will positively shape your professional and personal life.
View moreAmazing university, loved the city campus. Everything you need within walking distance.
Halls in first year were safe and great fun, the student union does an incredible job for freshers and welcoming you to the uni.
Facility’s around campus; ie library, photography suites, IT support, professional printing were all high quality and immensely helpful in my degree.
Would highly recommend Nottingham Tent for those that want the full University experience. From the night life to the restaurant scene, Art fairs and vintage shops… Nottingham is a dream for students.
View moreMy studies at NTU provided me with great experience life and educational experiences. I loved how the campus was at the heart of the city and everything was extremely accessible. The student life and atmosphere is incredible and you get to know all sorts of people from different backgrounds. I had fantastic opportunities to travel around the world on my degree and meet several industry experts.
View moreThe time I spent at Nottingham Trent were three of the best years of my life so far. If you’re from a small town and are worried about moving away to a big city for university, then I would definitely consider going to NTU. The city itself isn’t that big and you will soon find your way around. The city campus (where I attended) is right in the centre of Nottingham, a 5/10minute walk from all of the shops, restaurants and bars. Couldn’t be more ideal. The Uni nightlife is amazing and I highly recommend Ocean Wednesdays if you’re into fancy dress and cheesy music.
When it comes to my course, it was definitely the right one for me. I knew I wanted to work in fashion but wasn’t sure what element. Choosing Fashion Communication and Promotion opened so many doors and job opportunities- the course can be applied to anything. With the skills gained from my course, I was able to get a job at Topshop head office in a wholesale buying team soon after graduating. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without the knowledge and confidence gained from my course.
