Nottingham is the perfect city for students it’s full of clubs and bars whilst being small enough for you to walk everywhere.
The actual learning is very bad, however,
90% of my lecturers are not native English speakers and for some of them it is impossible to understand what they are saying. The grammar on some of the lecture slides is hilarious and you will spend a lot of your time in lectures questioning where your £10,000 went.
You may decide to be smart and re-watch these lectures at home with the ability to pause and slow down. However without subtitles you will get nowhere.
You will not for one moment feel like you are getting value for money. There is an inverse relationship between the price of education and the quality of education.
If you asked an 8 year old to read out the lecture slides word by word it would be better than watching these lecturers stumble over their words.
The overall university experience is great but I can’t put in to words how poor the teaching quality is.
