The first thing you need to know about Newcastle University is that you will love its infrastructure and its location. Newcastle city centre has plenty to offer and the university in walking-distance from every major interesting spot the city has.
Don’t forget to check out the Careers service at King’s Gate where a rather large team is there to help you land a job and overall the uni staff is young and energetic super nice people, take advantage of it.
The only thing I did not like was that a few courses had as main lecturer new professors that seemed quite unprepared or simply not confident enough to engage with a room full of students (even though this might’ve been a temporary thing related to some professors being on strike). Other than that, Newcastle Uni is a great place to be at, meet interesting people, and learn from a very industry-rich partnership type of education.
