I am studying postgrad at the UoM, and everything is perfect, from the lectures and student services. Students can find anything they want in the campus and through online resources. As an international student, uni offers countless resources and is willing to provide assistance such as academic studying, the cost of living, mental and psychical help, etc. Also, there are many societies and activities for students to expand their social networks and career services, which benefits students during their studying year in Manchester. I highly recommend that prospective students joining the international society, having opportunities to explore other cities and social events.

University of Manchester is a great place for any student. I myself am a foreign student and I felt very welcomed into the community. There are people from many countries and it is a great opportunity to expand your horizons.

As for the teaching the style is very similar to other UK institutions. The quality of lecturers was good in general although there were many exceptionally bad and exceptionally good outliers.

University offers many supporting services and provides students with many opportunities such as part time work.

The city itself is amazing and I would highly recommend Manchester for your university life.

The teaching at the University of Manchester, for the most part, feels enthusiastic and industry or profession specific. most lecturers and tutorial leaders are very passionate about what they do and this is highly motivating. The social scene is strong and highly fluid. my biggest critique will be that of grading and feedback which can sometimes feel generic and inconsistent.
