The Institute for Development Policy and Management (IDPM) in The University of Manchester (UOM) which I attended, is a world class center, aimed at investigating and providing solutions, to challenges faced in developing countries. UOM is located within the heart of the city center. In other to achieve it’s objectives, there are unique resources to enable students and staff to achieve case specific outcomes. However, the high rating of this center require students to be dedicated, otherwise they may fall below required standards. Therefore, I recommend potential students who are desirous of impeccable learning outcomes to IDPM of UOM. Furthermore, I recommend IDPM’s collaboration with credible organizations in Africa to assist real time data collection for analysis, that will aid policies formulations for poverty alleviation and improved development
